In our department, from 1963 to 1972, plucking was performed only patients with lymphadenopathy whereas, 1973 1983, modified radical neck dissection therapeutically or electively performed. order determine whether more extensive adequate, a retrospective analysis using two groups who were managed differently regard treatment metastases. From this series 206 than five years follow-up, it found that rates survival and recurrence did not differ between groups.
