摘要: Candidate genes have been associated with milk production in bovines, such as the diacylglycerol O-acyltransferase 1 (DGAT1) and leptin (LEP); however, they not simultaneously investigated nor evaluated Brazilian Girolando breed (Gir×Holstein, backcrossed to Holstein). Our aim was determine influence of fat-related genes, DGAT1 LEP, their polymorphisms on performance traits breed. Results indicated that K allele gene showed a significant association total average daily additive effect. The LEP A its homozygote are highly prevalent almost fixed this population may favorably selected during backcrossing for origin important impact corroborates initiative performing marker-assisted selections breeding programs
