摘要: Although growth-related biochemical, morphological, and biomechanical properties of rat cortical bone have been investigated, similar immature vertebral not well characterized. Information about these is necessary, however, for comparative analyses adaptation. Thus a method was developed to characterize differences in bone. The centra sixth lumbar vertebrae (L6) 44-day-old 54-day-old male Sprague-Dawley rats were compressed 50% their initial height at 50%/s strain rate while immersed potassium phosphate buffer solution (pH 7.4, 37 degrees C). Structural material the group that significantly greater than those included load, stress, energy proportional limit; maximum load stress; strain. structural stiffness L6, as its elastic modulus, older animals. calcium concentrations calcium-to-collagen ratios younger These results indicated specimen preparation testing protocol produced reliable results, even with relatively small size bodies, quantity quality matrix changed during this period rapid growth. Our test will be useful investigating responses exercise, disease, spaceflight.
