摘要: Abstract A new alkaloid, pipermethystine, isolated from the leaves of Piper methysticum is shown to be 5-acetoxy-5,6-dihydro-1-(3-phenylpropanoyl)-2(1H)-pyridone ( 1 ) by PMR, CMR and mass spectrometry its conversion phenylpropanoic acid 5-acetoxy-5,6-dihydro-2-(1H)-pyridone 5 ).
