摘要: These experiments investigated the effect of posttrial electrical stimulation hippocampus on learning and EEG activity in rats. Experiment I indicated that 3 min low-intensity bilateral ventral (VH) initiated at 5 sec facilitated one-way active avoidance. II VH also rats' a discriminated avoidance task. In both experiments, unoperated animals were significantly better than controls implanted with electrodes VH-stimulated was superior to controls. The results increased theta rhythm activity. findings are interpreted as suggesting enhanced by potentiating neural processes involved memory storage.
