摘要: Abstract 1. (1) Schick tests were carried out on 474 persons in Western Samoa. Only 12 per cent. of these gave a positive test, 73.7 the reactors under five years age. 2. (2) A study bacteria which recovered from 80 skin lesions various types was made. Coagulase-positive staphylococci 51.2 cent., Betahaemolytic streptococci 32.5 and strains C. diphtheriae 28.7 3. (3) Of 23 recovered, four or 17.7 toxigenic. 4. (4) The role infections Samoa is discussed.
