摘要: Abstract 1. (1) The results of a survey skin conditions among children in Western Samoa are described. Among 1,346 examined, 25·4 per cent. had no active lesions, 1·7 prickly heat, 24 tinea impetigo, 32·9 yaws, 12·3 versicolor and 6 other types ringworm. 2. (2) Each condition is analysed with reference to age, distribution, site lesion. 3. (3) incidence yaws compared the findings investigators discussed relation certain environmental factors. 4. (4) suggestion made that impetigo possibly scabies provide portal entry for yaws.
