摘要: Abstract The pathology of amoebiasis as seen in a study 7,922 necropsies the University College Hospital, Ibadan, has been studied. Amoebiasis accounted for death 135 subjects (1·9%). most common complications were liver abscess and peritonitis. There was significant increased frequency pregnancy when compared with non-pregnant females. Ulcerative post-dysenteric colitis may be more frequent than this suggested.
