摘要: Metabotropic GABAB receptors predominantly function as heterodimers of GABAB(1) and GABAB(2) subunits, but can also form functional in the absence GABAB(2). Mice lacking subunit have altered behavioural responses tests for anxiety depression. In these studies, we investigated depression GABAB(2)-deficient mice. We compared effects directly with that genetic deletion receptor subunit. Both mice were found to be more anxious than wild type light-dark box paradigm. contrast, exhibited an antidepressant-like behaviour forced swim test. Taken together, data suggest heterodimeric GABAB(1,2) are required normal regulation emotional behaviour.
