摘要: Flow forming process is a chipless metal used for the production of high accuracy axi-symmetrical cylindrical components. During this there an increase in tube length and decrease thickness without any change internal diameter. Generally performed with single roller or three rollers over rotating mandrel present work setup. The material plastically deformed radial direction by compression due made to flow axial reduction achieved pass. AA6061 aluminum alloy, usually defense components considered forming. mechanical properties alloy are dependent on rate at which heated quenched. Solution treatment has been carried out 400 °C 2 h followed quenching water. Microstructure finished product studied using SEM grain size estimated different ratios stagger distance intercept method.
