摘要: Adult acquired flatfoot is generally characterized by loss of the longitudinal arch, hindfoot valgus, and forefoot abduction, but precise deformity has not been adequately described at level individual joints. Simulated weightbearing CT scans plain radiographs 37 symptomatic flat feet were examined in this study. The degree arthritic degeneration was assessed major midfoot joints, location studied along medial column arch. Moderate to severe seen about one-third talonavicular, subtalar, calcaneocuboid arch collapsed through talonavicular joint some feet, naviculocuneiform others, rarely both. First tarsometatarsal subluxation a frequent finding as well. In small series, neither degenerative arthritis nor amount correlate with patient age. Furthermore, no correlation observed between foot degeneration.
