摘要: BACKGROUND Mungbean (Vigna radiata (L.) Wilczek) is a leguminous pulse crop that major source of proteins, vitamins and minerals. Root-infecting fungi produce severe plant diseases like root rot, charcoal damping-off stem rot. The soil-borne pathogens can be controlled by chemicals, but these chemicals have several negative effects. Use microbial antagonist such as bacteria safe, effective eco-friendly method for the control many pathogens. Biological agents promote growth develop disease resistance. Application seed dressing suppressed root-infecting on crops. RESULTS Seeds mungbean were pelleted with different biocontrol to determine their effect colonisation roots fungi, viz. Fusarium solani, Macrophomina phaseolina, Pythium aphanidermatum, Rhizoctonia solani Sclerotium rolfsii. Treatment seeds fungal antagonists showed more shoot length compared bacterial antagonists, whereas treated maximum weight. Trichoderma harzianum Bacillus subtilis best among all since they provided highest greater reduction in fungi. cereus, virens, Pseudomonas fluorescens Micrococcus varians also against lesser extent. T. harzianum, B. P. found agents. CONCLUSION pelleting it safe method. Additionally, was promoted this © 2015 Society Chemical Industry.
