Cerebral meningiomas in children

摘要: Cerebral meningiomas are rare tumors in children that represent 1.4% of CNS and 1.5% intracranial meningiomas. We have analyzed 197 cases cerebral under 16: 178 were taken from the available literature 19 our series. When comparing pediatric with those adults, we noted some differences. Before age 16 there is a slight preference for males; intraventricular variety more frequent; cystic absence dural attachment frequent findings; neuroradiological diagnosis difficult.
