摘要: The aim of this study was to detect rotavirus F (RVF) and G (RVG) in fecal specimens broiler chickens Brazil. During 2008 2011, a total 85 samples were collected. viral genome extracted, followed by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE), reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), nucleotide sequencing. Samples screened for rotaviruses PAGE, RVF RVG banding patterns not seen. Using RT-PCR, it found that 9.4 % (8/85) the pools contained RVF, whereas 10.6 % (9/85) RVG. predicted amino acid sequences from Brazilian 94.4-95.7 % 96.8-96.9 % identical, respectively, those prototypes Germany. detection provides important epidemiological data about simultaneous circulation affecting flocks Amazon region
