摘要: In treating patients with facial asymmetry, orthognathic surgery is often needed in combination orthodontic treatment. Conventional surgical treatment planning uses dental casts and two-dimensional radiography to predict the amount of movement needed. However, real modeled on mounted articulator cannot be simulated accurately based radiographs. this case report, we presented a new method using three-dimensional casting model for design. This report an 18-year-old female (at time surgery), diagnosed as Class Ⅲ malocclusion asymmetry. The plan was combined two-jaw surgery. We used design guiding plate stent provided surgeon guide during procedure. patient's profile greatly improved after surgery, result satisfying. This designing helped achieving more precise result.
