摘要: Purpose This study is aimed for measuring the accuracy of simulation and prediction our CASNOS protocol in adult patients treated with 2-jaw orthognathic surgery. Methods Adult skeletal Class III malocclusions requiring surgery were enrolled study. Three-dimensional imaging data 1-month pre-surgical (T1) 6-month post-surgical (T2) CT compared to assess planning. The was evaluated by calculating differences positions selected landmarks between simulated surgical 3D images parameters, including ANB, A-Nv, Pog-Nv, (ANS, Point A, B, Pog) changes horizontal (x-axis) vertical (y-axis) directions. Overall geographical discrepancy planning assessed superimposing color mapping T1 T2 imaging. Results Thirty a mean age 20.6 ± 1.5 years (female/male = 18/12) enrolled. overall superimposition planned 0.60 ± 0.19 mm (range: 0.42–1.08 mm). discrepancies Pog-Nv 1.16 ± 0.36°, 1.25 ± 0.33 mm, 1.19 ± 0.35 mm, respectively. deviations A B within 1 mm Conclusion application pre-designed bony guiding splints can allow surgeons treat craniofacial deformities precisely. provides novel approach orthodontists accurately remedying complex discrepancies.
