摘要: Septic complications are common in patients with biliary obstruction. This is thought to be related, part, dysfunction of the hepatic reticuloendothelial system (RES). It has been reported that nearly 80% circulating microorganisms phagocytosed and killed within liver clearance pathogens significantly impaired jaundice. However, effect obstruction specifically on phagocytic killing less well described. Therefore this study was designed quantify obstruction, simultaneously discriminately, two important components RES function (phagocytosis killing). Rats were divided into three experimental groups: control, sham, jaundiced (common bile duct ligation). At 7, 10, 14, 21days after operation, E. coli labeled both 125I 51Cr injected intravenously. Using previously validated double-labeled vivo technique, (HPC), efficiency (HKE), net (NHK) measured. Common ligation resulted a significant decrease HPC postoperatively. Similarly, HKE decreased animals by postoperative day but returned baseline values 14. The these changes reflected reduction NHK animals. Results present suggest obstructive jaundice impairs phagocytosis liver. These findings may help explain susceptibility tract morbidity mortality septic complications.
