摘要: OBJECTIVE This study aimed to assess the incidence of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) by grade (CIN 1, CIN 2, 3) and age in Estonia (a country with less developed cancer screening program high incidence). MATERIALS AND METHODS descriptive uses data from a health insurance fund covering whole estimate grade. case definition was based on specific diagnostic procedures (biopsy, pathological diagnosis, colposcopy) and/or treatment (excision, local destructive therapy, conization, hysterectomy) CIN-specific diagnosis code (International Statistical Classification Diseases, 10 Revision) reported care claims. Age-specific rates were calculated together 95% CIs. Main outcome measure includes grade-specific rate per 1,000 women. RESULTS The estimates for women range 0.68 2.83 0.63 1.24 0.13 0.53 3 narrow (biopsy/pathological based) broad (any procedure/treatment criteria, respectively. CONCLUSIONS Our dysplasia disease frequency distribution are line those other countries. Administrative resources (such as data) valuable source research.
