Healing assessed by rate contraction skin sites treated with simple ointment base, 10% (w/w) LJEE ointment, or reference standard drug, 0.2% nitrofurazone ointment. effects on contents hydroxyproline hexosamine during estimated. antimicrobial activity against microorganisms also assessed. vivo anti-inflammatory understand mechanism healing. exhibited significant Staphylococcus aureus, epidermidis, Escherichia coli, Candida albicans, tropicalis. formulation prepared potent capacity evidenced correlated observed pattern. These findings supported histopathological characteristics healed sections, greater tissue regeneration, more fibroblasts, angiogenesis ointment-treated group. results indicated that possesses activity, enhanced production cytokines suppress proinflammatory cytokine production. suggest activities act synergistically accelerate repair.
