摘要: We present a technique for constructing equilibrium triaxial N-body haloes with nearly arbitrary density profiles, axial ratios and spin parameters. The method is based on the way in which structures form hierarchical cosmological simulations, where prolate oblate via mergers low high angular momentum, respectively. show that major between spherical cuspy produce similarly remnants higher angular-momentum systems lower concentrations. Triaxial orbiting within deeper potentials become more their velocity dispersion tensors isotropic. rate of mass loss depends sensitively halo shape: can lose at several times than an isotropic same profile. Subhaloes simulations are significantly rounder field ∼30 per cent larger.
