American Cancer Society Guidelines for Breast Screening with MRI as an Adjunct to Mammography

摘要: New evidence on breast Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) screening has become available since the American Cancer Society (ACS) last issued guidelines for early detection of cancer in 2003. A guideline panel reviewed this and developed new recommendations women at different defined levels risk. Screening MRI is recommended with an approximately 20-25% or greater lifetime risk cancer, including a strong family history ovarian who were treated Hodgkin disease. There are several subgroups which data insufficient to recommend against screening, personal carcinoma situ, atypical hyperplasia, extremely dense breasts mammography. Diagnostic uses not considered be within scope review.
