摘要: Solar radiation incident at the Earth’s surface (Rs) is an essential component of total energy exchange between atmosphere and surface. Reanalysis data have been widely used, but a comprehensive validation using measurements still highly needed. In this study, we evaluated Rs estimates from six current representative global reanalyses (NCEP–NCAR, NCEP-DOE; CFSR; ERA-Interim; MERRA; JRA-55) different observation networks [GEBA; BSRN; GC-NET; Buoy; CMA] (674 sites in total) Radiant Energy System (CERES) EBAF product 2001 to 2009. The mean biases reanalysis all ranged 11.25 W/m2 49.80 W/m2. Comparing with CERES-EBAF product, overestimate Rs, except for ERA-Interim, ranging −2.98 21.97 over globe. It was also found that cloud fraction (CF) caused overestimation Rs. After removing averaged bias CERES-EBAF, weighted by area latitudinal band, annual values 184.6 W/m2, 180.0 182.9 were obtained land, ocean, globe, respectively.
