Hydrothermal synthesis of ceramic nanomaterials for functional applications

摘要: Yttria-doped zirconia, lead zirconate titanate (PZT) and barium were successfully obtained using hydrothermal procedures. Based on these results mathematical models describing the correlation between nanopowders' characteristics main synthesis parameters are proposed. Powders from systems (Y2O3)0.1 (ZrO2)0.9 (Y2O3)0.04 (ZrO2)0.96 soluble Zr(IV) peroxide precursors show that cubic/tetragonal phases have been formed by controlled crystallization solution. With increasing temperature treatment mean crystallite sizes increase a minimum of 5 nm to maximum 22 nm. The activation energy shows diffusion-controlled process. Barium powders with stoichiometry could also be hydrothermally synthesized in range 110– 175°C. Synthesis PZT 4 43 is finally presented. Dense yttria-partial stabilized zirconia high ionic conductivity good stability electric–physical for use design materials improved sensorial was after sintering nanopowders.
