摘要: Summary The binding of insulin-like growth factor I (IGF-I) to its receptor stimulates cell proliferation and differentiation in several systems. In the present studies, we have characterized expression IGF-I receptors during trophoblast vitro. During cytotrophoblast cells syncytiotrophoblasts, capacity increased 40 per cent from 80 130 fmol/mg protein on day 1 2, then decreased by 70 2 3. affinity non-significantly with a change kDa 6.5 3.5 m between 3 culture. contrast, when were maintained an undifferentiated state, there was no either or over three days Down-regulation pre-incubation demonstrated for syncytiotrophoblasts maximum decrease 67 after 72 h pre-incubation. Minimal down-regulation seen (maximum 22 48 pre-incubation). conclusion, these results that surface changes vitro suggest involvement this process.
