摘要: Pseudozyma flocculosa is a yeast-like epiphyte recently classified as basidiomycete related to the Ustilaginales. In this study, we report cloning of its gene coding for putative glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GPD). This was selected on premise that transcripts are abundant during growth phase P. flocculosa. The complete sequence found contain two introns in region and one 3′-untranslated region. present single copy genome By comparing deduced amino acid with various sequences from basidiomycetous ascomycetous fungi, observed stronger homology former group predicted by new classification promoter lacked typical TATA or CAAT box but contained CT-rich including transcription start site. Although GPD showed affinity within flocculosa, it remained active across species shown expressing green fluorescent protein antarctica. brings versatile options limited genetic tools currently available study defined genus.
