摘要: Abstract Thermoluminescence (TL) characteristics of γ−ray irradiated calcium fluoro borophosphate glasses doped with different concentrations CuO (0.2–1 mol%) have been studied in the temperature range 30–300 °C. The dose is varied from 0.25 kGy to 10 kGy. glow curves these exhibited a dosimetric peak at about 200 °C and high 300 °C. 0.2 mol% maximum TL light output. increase dopant concentration beyond caused inhibition emission drastically shifting positions towards higher temperatures. probable mechanism responsible for quenching has explained based on variations valence state copper ions aid optical absorption spectra. response glass samples showed linear behavior within 0.25 4 kGy. Samples containing (>0.2 mol%) were found be not suitable radiation dosimetry 10 kGy dose.
