摘要: The best hope of controlling the HIV pandemic is development an effective vaccine. In addition to stimulation virus neutralising antibodies, a vaccine will need T-cell response against virus. Vaccines based on recombinant adenoviruses (rAd) are promising candidates stimulate anti-HIV responses. This review discusses different rAd vector types, problems raised by host immune responses them and strategies that being adopted overcome this problem. target dendritic cells thus tropism interaction rAd-based vaccines with these covered. Different vaccination regimes mucosal discussed together data from animal studies immunogenicity challenge experiments. ends discussion recent disappointing Merck trial.
