摘要: This paper describes a modeling study of near-field and far-field dilution discharged effluents from deep sea outfall system in Antalya Bay Turkey. Initial wastewater plume behavior were simulated by Visual Plumes-UM3 model whereas Brooks dispersion first order bacterial decay formulations used to simulate dilution. The input data sets collected detailed field lab investigations for effluent discharges (flow rate, total fecal coliform concentration) ambient environment (oceanographic current measurements). Geostatistical methods GIS visualize results the bacteriological sampling study. Site specific inactivation rates determined both in-situ lab-scale experiments. Total values bacteria concentrations predicted. Good agreement between predicted measured obtained homogeneous density stratified conditions. Discussion on mechanisms was presented with recommendations similar future studies.
