摘要: The stone column is a useful method for increasing the bearing capacity and reducing settlements of foundations. confinement provided by native soft soils has an effective influence on capacity. In this paper, laboratory tests were performed unreinforced reinforced geotextile-encased columns. Tests columns with diameters 60, 80, 100 mm length to diameter ratio 5. Vertical encased (VESC) horizontal (HRSC) used reinforcement investigate effect type main objective research study efficiency VESC HRSC under same conditions mm. Experimental results show that increases using vertical or reinforcing material. Moreover, strength in both HRSC. Results bulging failure mechanism governed all lateral decreases geotextiles reinforcement. addition, HRSC, stress concentration also increases.
