Dialogue through the eyes: Exploring teachers’ focus of attention during educational dialogue

摘要: Abstract This study explored teachers’ focus of attention during educational dialogue. Teachers’ was recorded in 54 Grade 1 classrooms using Tobii Pro Glasses 2 mobile eye-tracking device. From the video recordings, episodes dialogue were identified and categorised by quality. Teacher’s on students examined episodes. Results showed that teachers allocated their relatively unevenly among students. More got visual high-quality than moderate-quality provides insight into quality combining assessment verbal with observations non-verbal teacher’s classroom.
