摘要: In cases of old myocardial infarction, the presence mitral valve regurgitation is one predicting factors long-term prognosis. The mechanism ischemic consists annular dilatation, left ventricular (LV) dilatation followed by tethering valve, etc. Since prognosis patients in whom degree 2+ or more typically poor, procedure should be considered at time coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) more. this type surgery, treatment essentially involves use an artificial ring implantation as basic technique. chronic stage, a significant persists approximately 20% if they have been treated annuloplasty alone. Additional surgical procedures that reduce eradicate are essential for control completely with strong tethering. We recently employed two new techniques, namely, cutting secondary chordae to anterior leaflet and posterior papillary muscle reapproximation. results acute phase appear promising; however, such methods yet determined. If cannot controlled even various operative techniques repair, replacement considered. This because survival rate suboptimal repair lower when compared patients.
