摘要: Background Escherichia coli can experience a multifaceted life, in some cases acting as commensal while other causing intestinal and/or extraintestinal disease. Several studies suggest enteroaggregative E. are the predominant cause of coli-mediated diarrhea developed world and second only to Campylobacter sp. bacterial-mediated diarrhea.
