摘要: Mutations of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene play a critical role in carcinogenesis lung cancer, particularly adenocarcinoma. However, to best our knowledge, no mutations EGFR patients with carcinosarcoma have been identified. We herein report case 61-year-old female referred for detailed examination left pulmonary mass shadow. Although bronchoscopy was performed, it failed lead diagnosis, and video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery therefore carried out diagnose tumor. The pathology revealed biphasic features consisting both adenocarcinoma chondrosarcoma. Intriguingly, chondrosarcoma components were proven harbor an exon19 deletion gene. is rare malignancy lungs, genetic analyses oncogenic drivers, such as gene, should be conducted.
