摘要: The rapid urban growth followed by disordered occupation has been generating significant impacts on cities, bringing losses of an economic and social nature that directly interfere with the well-being population. In this work, a proposal for local infrastructure problems associated watercourse management is presented, comparing Sustainable Drainage System (SuDS) techniques Low-Impact Development (LID) concepts alternative traditional interventions. study addresses sustainable alternatives to cope urbanization Cehab’s open channel, which important tributary Muriae River, at municipality Itaperuna, Rio de Janeiro—Brazil. multi-criteria decision-making method called Technique Order Preference Similarity Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) was applied here. results highlighted better performance when compared ones, overall advantage geogrids geocells case study. obtained TOPSIS coefficients-C these were higher (0.59488, Reach 1; 0.68656, 2) than those others.
