摘要: Abstract This paper presents an overview of simulation-based shop floor control. Much the work described is based on research conducted in Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) Lab at The Pennsylvania State University, Texas A&M Aided (TAMCAM), Technion Israel, and University Arizona CIM lab over past decade. In this approach, a discrete event simulation used not only as traditional analysis evaluation tool but also task generator that drives operations real time. To enable this, special feature Arena™ language was whereby model interacts directly with execution system by sending receiving messages. control reads process plans master production orders from external databases are updated planning coordinated via business system. other programs such planner, scheduler, error detection recovery function. paper, architecture, implementation, integration all components proposed detail. Finally, extensions to including automatic generation, described.
