摘要: AbstractThe aims of the current study were to investigate oxidant and antioxidant status liver tissue challenged by doxorubicin examine possible protective effects aerobic exercise on doxorubicin-induced oxidative stress. Seventy-two rats divided into three age groups (Young, Adult, Elderly) with treatment subgroups consisting eight per group: doxorubicin, exercise + doxorubicin, exercise + saline. The experimental performed regular treadmill running for 3 weeks. Doxorubicin was administered i.p. injection at a dosage 20 mg kg−1 while exercise + saline group received saline comparable volume. Heat shock protein 70, malondialdehyde, glutathione peroxidase, carbonyl determined from homogenates following intervention period.
