摘要: The goal of the present work is to analyze space missions that use terrestrial atmosphere accomplish orbital maneuvers involve a plane change. A set analytical solutions presented for variation elements due single passage through atmosphere, assuming interval spacecraft travels not too large. study considers both lift influence on orbit as well drag. final equations are tested with numerical integration and can be considered in accordance results whenever perigee height larger than critical value. Next, ratio between velocity increment required correct semimajor axis decay atmospheric obtain change inclination also presented. This analysis used decide if maneuver passing decrease fuel consumption mission and, cases where this technique used, multiple more efficient passage.
