摘要: The mechanism by which Huaier, a Chinese traditional medicine, protects podocytes remains unclear. We designed the present study to examine whether mitochondrial function restored PGC-1 serves as major target of Huaier cream in protecting ADR nephropathy. After administration, exhibited remarkable cell injury and dysfunction. Additionally, also reduced both vivo vitro. Following treatment, notable downregulation its downstream molecule transcription factor A (TFAM) were almost entirely blocked. Correspondingly, markedly ameliorated ADR-induced podocyte dysfunction rat kidneys incubated cells it inhibited decrease nephrin podocin expression, mtDNA copy number, MMP, ATP content. Transmission electron microscopy result showed that protected mitochondria against severe mitophagy abnormal changes ultrastructural morphology. In conclusion, can protect cytotoxicity possibly reversing via overexpression, may be novel therapeutic drug glomerular diseases.
