摘要: Abstract Projections from several brainstem serotonergic nuclei to the nucleus tractus solitarii were investigated in rat. Experiments performed using a double labeling method combining retrograde radioautographic tracing and serotonin immunohistochemistry. After injection of radioactive tracer ([ 3 H]wheat germ agglutinin) into lateral solitarii, nerve cell bodies exhibiting both immunostaining detected all investigated, namely raphe magnus, ventromedial paragigantocellular nucleus, pontis, medianus dorsalis, medial lemniscus reticulotegmental pons. Most labeled perikarya observed adjacent part dorsalis. Nerve retrogradely but devoid also observed, together with perikarya, within nuclei. These results provide direct evidence that neurons contribute innervation solitarii. They indicate magnus dorsalis constitute two major sources central projections
