摘要: THIS study extends the pharmacological characterization of a novel quantitative murine behavioral method, mirrored chamber aversion assay, which appears to be selectively sensitive anxiolytic agents. Behavioral effects acute diazepam administration were compared with those 5-HT 1A buspirone and ethanol in C57BL/6J mice. These known anxiolytics produced dose-dependent reduction avoidance behavior large magnitude, as evidenced by statistically significant decreases latency enter increases time spent chamber. Anxiolytic-like these compounds assay differed from observed elevated plusmaze method. The test not due alteration locomotor activity. findings indicate that responds several agents man but differs spectrum it is sensitive.
