摘要: Efficiency at maximum power (MP) output for an engine with a passive piston without mechanical controls between two reservoirs is theoretically studied. We enclose hard core gas partitioned by massive in temperature-controlled container and analyze the efficiency MP under heating cooling protocol controlling pressure acting on from outside. find following three results: (i) The dilute close to Chambadal-Novikov-Curzon-Ahlborn (CNCA) if we can ignore side wall friction loss of energy particle piston, while (ii) moderately dense becomes smaller than CNCA even when temperature difference small. (iii) Introducing Onsager matrix verify that tight coupling condition satisfied, not satisfied because inevitable heat leak. confirm validity these results using molecular dynamics simulation introducing effective mean-field-like model which call stochastic mean field model.
