Predicting Task Execution Time on Natural User Interfaces based on Touchless Hand Gestures

摘要: Model-based evaluation has been widely used in HCI. However, current predictive models are insufficient to evaluate Natural User Interfaces based on touchless hand gestures. The purpose of this paper is present a model KLM predict performance time for doing tasks using interface type. required operators were defined considering the temporal structure gestures (i.e. gesture units) and performing systematic bibliographic review. times these estimated by user study consisting various parts. Finally, empirical gave acceptable results (root-mean-square error = 10%, R2 0.936) when compared similar developed other interaction styles. Thus, proposed should be helpful software designers carry out usability assessments predicting without participation.
