摘要: Abstract : This thesis provides a new framework for the design of very high performance digital machines. The theoretical results which are presented have practical implications, and lead to better understanding possibilities limitations in computers, communication hardware other machinery. discussion centers on different organizations globally-asynchronous, locally-synchronous systems, covers following issues: complex metastability as limitation performance, structures two classes non-conventional architectures, optimization, reliability, techniques.
