摘要: Abstract The electrocatalytic behavior of Ti/RuO2 and Ti/IrO2 electrodes was investigated as function the supporting electrolyte solvent. A decrease observed in electrochemically active area electrode cation size increases. oxidation potential a series organic solvents tested showed straight relationship with Gutmann's donor number: higher GDN more easily is solvent oxidized. Oxidation isosafrole, ISF, used probe reaction to examine influence composition on activity electrodes. global catalytic for ISF independent material. For both materials it verified that following sequence holds overall efficiency oxidation: AN>PC>DMSO≈DMF.
