摘要: Instant messaging (IM) has become one of the most popular modes instantaneous electronic communication mediums throughout world for users. A unique feature IM on smartphone is its choice text-based, graphical or animated emoticons that express emotion and intentions. Many studies have been conducted computer mediated (CMC), emoticons, but little known specifically about study in smartphone. The goal this was to understand how are used investigate inconsistent results previous research. Thus, explored frequency variety emoticon usage as well user traits based types, relationships between users, availability keyboards, emotional states corresponding suggestions provided by would help increase understanding designing future
