Ultrastructural quantification of collagen fibrils in chordae tendineae of the sheep and rabbit.

摘要: Collagen fibril diameters and the volume occupied by collagen were quantified at ultrastructural level in chordae tendineae of rabbit sheep. diameter distribution was unimodal significant differences found between values on left right sides, those being greater than right. The are discussed terms mechanical loading compared with results obtained from other tendinous structures subjected to continuous loading.
