摘要: OBJECTIVE--To determine collagen fibril diameter distributions in the chordae tendineae and to see whether there are any differences between right left sides of human heart. DESIGN--Collagen diameters percentage volume occupied by fibrils (as opposed ground substance) were determined means a planimeter with digitising tablet from electron micrographs printed at magnification 136; 000. MATERIAL--Human obtained postmortem examination seven subjects aged 50-75 years. MEASUREMENTS AND MAIN RESULTS--Histograms showed sharp, unimodal distribution. The mean associated tricuspid mitral valves 41.1 nm 40.5 respectively. was about 39% for each valve. There no significant these values CONCLUSIONS--The greater pressures present on side heart not reflected difference within compared side.
