摘要: A 29-year-old woman with idiopathic portal hypertension was referred to our department for the surgical management of repetitive bleeding from esophageal and gastric varices. At age 16 years she had undergone a splenectomy transection followed by endoscopic sclerotherapy which been performed total 24 times. Although vericeal hemorrhage prevented several months, varices hypertensive gastropathy not able be controlled readily when 26 old. On admission, angiographic studies showed complete obstruction vein; however, portosystemic shunt operation due her previous splenectomy. To control bleeding, we decided perform gastrectomy distal esophagectomy reconstruction Roux-en-Y esophagojejunostomy. Her postoperative course uneventful, no episodes recurrent or other complications have developed, indicating that quality life has dramatically improved. Thus, conclude constitute an effective treatment unshuntable extrahepatic hypertension.
