摘要: Abstract Binge-eating is considered a specific form of overeating characterized by intermittent and high caloric food intake in short period time. Epidemiologic studies support positive relation between the ingestion fat ethanol (EtOH), specifically among adolescent subjects. The aim this work was to clarify role compulsive, limited high-fat during adolescence on rewarding effects EtOH. After binge-eating for 2 h, three days week from postnatal day (PND) 29, reinforcing EtOH were tested with self-administration (SA), conditioned place preference (CPP) locomotor sensitization procedures young adult mice. Animals binge (HFB) group that underwent SA procedure presented greater consumption higher motivation obtain drug. HFB mice also developed paired compartment CPP subthreshold dose Independently diet, EtOH-induced sensitization. procedure, exhibited reduced levels mu opioid receptor (MOr) increased cannabinoid 1 (CB1r) gene expression nucleus accumbens (N Acc), decreased tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) ventral tegmental area (VTA). Taken together results suggest bingeing may represent vulnerability factor an escalation consumption.
