摘要: In this work we show that postsynthetic addition of borane Lewis acids to base decorated organoplatinum photosensitizers induces significant changes in the optical and electrochemical properties. particular, charge transfer (CT) energies these chromophores are significantly modified by outer-sphere interactions. The direction CT shift depends on site acid binding, which occurs either at diimine ligand bipyrazine-linked molecules or an ancillary acetylide pyridyl-substituted bis(acetylide) molecules. magnitude acidity number equivalents added is comparable perturbation brought covalent substituent modification supporting ligands related complexes.
